Model recruiter connected to Epstein found dead amid his own investigation

Daniel Siad, a model recruiter who allegedly sourced young women for late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is dead.

The death was confirmed by Nanterre Judicial Court deputy public prosecutor Marie-Céline Lawrysz, who issued public statements on Wednesday stating that Siad’s body had been found in his home in Colombes earlier in the week.

“An investigation to determine the cause of death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery,” the court’s office explained.

This comes after a recent CNN interview with Siad in which he told CNN’s Katie Polglase that he was completely unaware of the abuse Epstein perpetrated on two of the young women he had introduced to the financier.

“I don’t know his private life,” Siad claimed.

“Well, you do, because he was a convicted child sex offender,” Polglase responded flatly.

“Again, he paid for it. He said, ‘I paid for it,'” the man exclaimed.

“I trusted him and believed this guy was a professional person,” he said later. “I never heard anything from anyone I introduced to him who came back to me that they had a bad situation. I believed this guy is a professional person.”

Siad’s name appears thousands of times in the Epstein files, and he made the interesting choice to continue working with the man following his conviction. He has also faced allegations of his own, which include rape, from several models. He had denied the allegations.

Assuming this was a suicide, it seems this is the only kind of justice the Epstein victims will get. Since it seems no one will face prosecution for the harm they did, it seems the only justice will come when these men’s conscience troubles them so much they take their own lives.
