Elon Musk swats down Robert DeNiro’s imbecilic Trump-Hitler comparison

Robert DeNiro is obviously suffering from advanced-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome and like many other of his kooky liberal brethren, he’s plagued by an irrational belief that former President Donald J. Trump will be Hitler II.

The “Goodfellas” and “Raging Bull” star appeared on a recent edition of “11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle” on MSNBC where he warned that Trump has much in common with Der Führer in some of his looniest remarks yet although since it was cable TV, viewers got a sanitized version of the F-bomb spewing fake tough guy.

“Historically, from what I see, even in Nazi Germany, they had it with Hitler. They don’t take him seriously. ‘He looks like a clown. Acts like a clown.’ Mussolini. Same thing. These guys, I don’t know why they look like clowns,” the 80-year-old actor said.

“Look what happened with France, and with the Nazis and so on…. As a kid, I said ‘Hitler, it’s a nightmare that never would happen.’ But now I see that it’s possible,” De Niro added.

One person who found De Niro’s dire predictions to be bat guano crazy was billionaire X owner Elon Musk who responded to a user who shared the interview clip by pointing out the obvious truth that Trump is NOTHING like the second coming of Hitler that Democrats insist he is.

“Well, Trump was actually already president for 4 years and his policies bore no resemblance to those of Hitler, so this makes no sense,” Musk wrote, noting that Trump’s strong support for Israel is very un-Hitlerlike. “In fact, with the Abraham Accords, he made some progress towards peace in the Middle East, which was definitely not high on Hitler’s agenda.”

The Tesla/SpaceX CEO wasn’t the only one who pounded bitter old Bob who in his 80 years on the planet doesn’t seem to have ever bothered to read William L. Shirer’s “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich,” the 1960 book that remains to this day, the definitive text on Nazi Germany.

The legendary actor could have just taken his Oscars and enjoyed his retirement, lord knows he’s rich, but he’s intent on spending his later years raving about his fellow New Yorker whom he appears to have a deep-seated grievance, possibly psychological.

“De Niro should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others. He has become a total loser, as the World watches, waits, and laughs!” Trump said of DeNiro late last year.
