Fox News host Greg Gutfeld applied his signature style of commentary on the latest headlines with a humorous agreement with President Joe Biden.

Gutfeld and his “The Five” co-hosts discussed the fallout from the president calling Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a b*tch” on Monday. The “Gutfeld!” host surprisingly backed Biden over the “dumb question” Doocy had asked about inflation.

But Gutfeld also highlighted the fact that Doocy’s reaction to the insulting shot from the president of the United States sets him – and Fox News – apart from others.

“Biden was right, it was a dumb question!” he said Tuesday. “‘Will inflation hurt your chances?’ Of course, it will! So actually, Biden was correct. It was a dumb question.”

As the press pool was being herded out of the East Room on Monday, Doocy shouted a question after the president, asking, “Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?”

Biden shot back with sarcasm and insult, saying, “No, it’s a great asset.”

Perhaps not aware that his microphone was still on, he continued: “More inflation. What a stupid son of a b*tch.”

While Gutfeld joked about the nature of Doocy’s question, he went on to deliver a stinging indictment of the mainstream media and their obvious hypocrisy when it comes to how the president interacts with the press.

“But that’s the best part about Fox News. We aren’t CNN. We aren’t wetting our shorts and calling this, you know, an attack on democracy or an insurrection,” he said.

“Every time [Jim] Acosta acted like a stone tool and got CNN’s cavalcade of Karens, you know, fretting about the coming reign of terror,” he added, referring to the CNN anchor known for his infamous clashes with former President Donald Trump.

“The fact that we find this hilarious and that we can make fun of Peter Doocy says everything about how much fun this network is,” Gutfeld continued.

“But if it were Jim Acosta, they’d have to change [Anderson] Cooper’s sheets. Carl Bernstein would say it’s worse than Watergate. And also, if you didn’t mind Trump berating the press, you shouldn’t mind now,” he noted.

Gutfeld concluded his take by saying he “would prefer much more berating of the press and much less real-world problems that you mentioned, all of those real-world problems that are under Biden. I will take that over insults to the press.”

“I think we should be more obnoxious to the press. I do my best,” he joked.
