Former President Donald Trump eviscerated President Joe Biden during a lengthy interview on “Fox & Friends” Thursday, accusing the administration of “knowingly” destroying the country and claiming that Americans no longer trust the president or those who surround him.

“What they’re doing is destroying our country. Our country is being destroyed before your very eyes and I’ve never seen anything like it,” the former president noted during the interview.

“We have a group of people. I don’t know if it’s Biden. It might not be. But we have a group of people that are destroying our country and perhaps knowingly destroying our country,” declared Trump later in the segment.

Trump took exception with comments from Biden in 2020 blaming him for COVID deaths and stating that he shouldn’t remain in office because of them. The former president laid the deaths instead at Biden’s feet blaming his successor for engendering distrust among the American people over vaccinations.

“Some people don’t want to take them and that’s their freedom and that’s what we have to do. But, people don’t want to take them because they don’t trust Biden, they don’t trust the administration,” asserted Trump in his comments concerning just one of a number of topics during the wide-ranging interview.

Trump would go on to nail Biden over the supply chain mess, claiming it would never have occurred while he was in office, “It would have never happened. Nobody would have ever mentioned those words. Supply chains.”

Trump also firmly believed that the supply chain boondoggle was self-inflicted because of Biden’s heavy-handed vaccine mandates, which he described as “forced” and one of the “very big causes” of the economy “really hurting.”

The former President went on to rail against the Biden administration over the skyrocketing cost of gas, oil pipelines, the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the Chinese threat.

He even went so far as to point out if Biden had done nothing when he entered office, he would be better off today.

“If Joe Biden would have just come in and gone to the beach he would have been successful in many ways,” posited the former president.

Biden, who just turned 79, is contending that he will run for the presidency in 2024, and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is confirming his stance, claiming “that’s his intention,” according to The Hill.

Meanwhile, the buzz around former President Trump concerning a run in 2024 grows louder by the day. His super PAC just announced it would be hosting its largest fundraiser to date on December 2nd, according to Fox News.

Many see the 2024 Republican bid for the presidency to be Trump’s for the asking as he is seen as a kingmaker within the party and is wildly popular among conservatives.

Trump’s political organization has commissioned a poll in a hypothetical 2024 matchup between himself and Biden.

The survey was conducted in five key battleground states where Biden narrowly beat Trump in last year’s election to win the presidency. The results suggest that Trump is leading Biden by single digits in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania and by double digits in Michigan and Wisconsin which is very bad news for Biden. His lead is expected to greatly expand as he nears announcing his run for office and rallies begin to gear up.

The results of the survey also portend very bad things for the Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections where the Republicans are poised to take back both the House and the Senate.

According to a recent Emerson College poll, if the election were held now, Trump would edge out Biden 45-43. An Iowa poll has Trump leading Biden by double digits.
