Loudoun Superintendent Twitter acct deleted day after bombshell email on bathroom assault surfaces

The Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools deleted his Twitter account apparently in response to a bombshell story on an email about an alleged sexual assault at a high school, lending more credence to the accusations of a cover-up.

An email released this week from Superintendent Scott Ziegler to the school board suggests that he previously made false statements about his knowledge of the alleged sexual assault incident in a school bathroom on May 28.

The recently released email suggests that his previous statement disavowing knowledge of the alleged incident was blatantly false. Earlier he had stated that to his knowledge “we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.”

Further suggesting wrongdoing, Ziegler allegedly deleted his Twitter account following the release of the incriminating email.

“The Loudoun County Superintendent deleted his account amid the report he knowingly lied at a school board meeting about a rape occurring in a high school bathroom,” one tweet read.

“The purpose of this email is to provide you with information regarding an incident that occurred at Stone Bridge HS. This afternoon a female student alleged that a male student sexually assaulted her in the restroom. The [Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office] is investigating the matter,” Superintendent Scott Ziegler wrote in the May 28 email reported by WTOP.

Ziegler then turned the focus of his email sent to”School Board Confidential” to the “disruption” the father caused after the incident.

“Secondary to the assault investigation, the female student’s parent responded to the school and caused a disruption by using threatening and profane language that was overheard by staff and students. Additional law enforcement units responded to the school to assist with the parents,” the superintendent wrote.

Some people were quick to provide new nicknames for Ziegler amid the apparent coverup.

Earlier this month, the school district also denied any knowledge of the reports of sexual assault at the time the above email was sent, claiming the school board members “were not aware of the specific details of this incident until it was reported in media outlets earlier this week.”

Many expressed outrage that the superintendent and school board had not been criminally charged for lying to the public about their knowledge of the incident.

Scott Smith, the father of the alleged victim attended a school board meeting on June 22 to oppose the transgender policy that allows students to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with. His attendance was cut short when he was arrested for “unlawful assembly.” He claims his daughter was raped in a school bathroom by a gender-confused boy in a skirt.

The family’s attorney, Bill Stanley issued a statement condemning the superintendent, school board and administration for its repeated failures, warning that the school system’s failures “should serve as a cautionary tale for every public school system.”

“Today, Superintendent Ziegler said what we already knew: that the actions of the Loudoun County School Board and Administration ‘failed to provide the safe environment’ for the Smith’s daughter. As evidenced by subsequent events and revelations, Loudoun Public Schools have been failing the parents who entrusted them to provide a safe environment for their children every day. That trust has irrevocably broken by Loudoun County Public Schools’ (LCPS) actions and inactions,” Stanley asserted.

“Superintendent Ziegler’s continued insistence e that somehow the schools and the administration are not at fault for their conduct that led to the horrific sexual assault of the Smith’s daughter strains credulity. It is completely unacceptable and outrageous for Dr. Ziegler to blame the federal government’s Title IX protocols for the treatment of the Smith’s daughter and the subsequent sexual assault of yet another LCPS student. This demonstrates a cluelessness that explains the notoriety Loudoun County Public Schools have obtained over the last several months,” the statement continued.

“Loudoun County Public Schools is in this situation because it prioritized misguided policies of political correctness over student safety. What has ensued should serve as a cautionary tale for every public school system,” the attorney concluded.
