A California teacher who suggested that her students pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag instead of the American flag has been removed from the classroom after she boasted about her actions in a video that went viral, resulting in major blowback.
The teacher, who was identified in reports as Kristin Pitzen of Orange County’s Newport Mesa School District, posted her now-infamous video to Tik Tok in what was an ill-fated effort to get attention from other America-hating leftists who have invaded the nation’s schools where they have prioritized indoctrination over education.
Pitzen can barely conceal her glee in the video as she explains that she removed the real flag from her classroom because it made her feel “uncomfortable,” giggling that “I packed it away and I don’t know where, and I haven’t found it yet,” depriving the kids of the nation’s cherished and enduring symbol for the pledge of allegiance with her preferred substitute being the multicolored standard of the LBGTQ+ movement.
While Pitzen was obviously very pleased with herself, her employer wasn’t similarly impressed and yanked her from the classroom, placing her on administrative leave pending an investigation.
The video boomeranged on the radical leftist as it went viral in ways that she didn’t anticipate, leading to the following statement from the Newport-Mesa Unified School District:
“On Friday evening, one of our teachers created a personal social media post that caused alarm and concern related to saluting the American flag. Showing respect for our nation’s flag is an important value our District instills in our students and is an expectation of our employees. We take this matter seriously and are investigating and addressing it.”
The video which is no longer accessible on Tik Tok was preserved by the Twitter account Libs of Tik Tok.

“Okay, so during third period, we have announcements and they do the Pledge of Allegiance,” Pitzen said. “I always tell my class, stand if you feel like it, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want, don’t have to say the words so my class decided to stand but not say the words.”
“Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag, it used to be there,” she points off-camera, “but I took it down during COVID because it made me feel uncomfortable,” she whispered.
After she claimed she didn’t know where the flag was, Pitzen added, “But my kid today goes, ‘Hey, um, it’s kinda weird that we just stand and then, you know, we say it to nothing.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh well, you know, I gotta find it, like, I’m working on it, I got you.’”
Then comes the money line as she struggled to contain her laughter.
“I tell this kid, we do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to,” Pitzen said, as she pointed to the pride flag.

Parents are revolting against critical race theory and classroom indoctrination.

Gabriel Gipe who teaches at Inderkum High School in Sacramento was also yanked from the classroom while the school district begins the process of firing the Antifa activist who bragged that “I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries,” in the video.
There is a growing awareness among parents of what is really taking place in classrooms with the teaching of the poisonous and divisive critical race theory as well as revisionist history garbage like the 1619 Project.
Now they are fighting back by going on the offensive against school boards on social media and at public meetings as they strike back against the “political predators” who have been preying on their children.
