‘Why are we wasting vaccinations on Texas?’ Pelosi daughter answers Keith Olbermann’s sick question

It’s very rare that this ever happens, but far-left commentator Keith Olbermann posted a tweet Tuesday so hateful and venomous that even members of his own political tribe scurried forth from their “safe spaces” to slam him into oblivion.

Responding to the decision by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to lift his state’s mask mandate and lift all lockdown restrictions amid the quickly receding coronavirus pandemic, Olbermann suggested that coronavirus vaccines should be denied to Texans.

“Why are we wasting vaccinations on Texas if Texas has decided to join the side of the virus?” the loud-mouth left-winger and veritable hatemonger wrote.

Look:

Apparently, it didn’t dawn on him that one of the primary reasons why the pandemic is receding is because of the continuing distribution of the vaccine.

According to data from Becker’s Hospital Review, by Tuesday the Lone Star State had already vaccinated 5.5 million residents, which was close to 20 percent of the whole population and an even higher percent of the total elderly population.

So long as these efforts continue, the pandemic is slated to continue receding, which raises the question of why on Earth anyone would want to jeopardize the state and country’s success by denying millions of Americans the coronavirus vaccine.

Olbermann’s tweet was so vitriolic that even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s far-left daughter, Christine Pelosi, was compelled to fire back. Keep in mind she’s the same woman who endorsed the felony assault of Sen. Rand Paul last year.

Look at what she and others wrote in response below (*Language warning):

Now take a closer look at the names seen above.

You got Carlos Maza, the former Vox guy who tried to get Steven Crowder canceled. You got Andy Wright of former President Barack Obama’s White House Counsel. And you got Molly Jong-Fast, a left-wing journo and close ally of Rick Wilson. These aren’t right-wingers bashing Olbermann. These are hardcore leftists.

Now, despite the loud outcry against Olbermann’s tweet, by Wednesday morning it’d nevertheless attracted nearly 15 thousand likes, making it clear that there’s still a hungry audience for the sort of hate that he’s notorious for peddling.

As for Texas’s mask mandate reversal, Gov. Abbott genuinely believes neither it nor job-killing lockdown restrictions are necessary anymore to keep people safe.

“With the medical advancements of vaccines and antibody therapeutic drugs, Texas now has the tools to protect Texans from the virus. We must now do more to restore livelihoods and normalcy for Texans by opening Texas 100 percent,” he said in a statement Tuesday.

He also pushed back against the idea that he’s some sort of science denier who thinks the coronavirus pandemic has just magically disappeared.

“Make no mistake, COVID-19 has not disappeared, but it is clear from the recoveries, vaccinations, reduced hospitalizations, and safe practices that Texans are using that state mandates are no longer needed,” he explained.

“Today’s announcement does not abandon safe practices that Texans have mastered over the past year. Instead, it is a reminder that each person has a role to play in their own personal safety and the safety of others. With this executive order, we are ensuring that all businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny.”

While his statement may sound perfectly reasonable to those who understand the need of weighing trade-offs, to the left it’s nothing but blasphemy.
